This cookie is not really a cookie at all, but more of a pastry that evokes the taste and flavor of rugelach.  A yeast based sour cream pastry dough is rolled in cinnamon sugar and then filled with raspberry preserves, finely diced walnuts and coconut before being folded, cut and twisted into these little perfect bowties.  This "cookie" is great on its own but extra special when enjoyed with a cup of coffee or tea.
